Vendaikai / ladies finger fry
Ingredients:
Vendaikaai/Ladies finger - 250 gms
Onion - 1 big size
Garlic - 6-8 pods
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1tspn
Jeera - 1/4 tspn
Channa dhal & urad dhal - 1/2 tspn
Curry leaves - 1 strand
Oil- 1 to 2 tbsp
Salt needed
Recipe:
> Chop onions and crush the garlic before starting the process
> Wash the ladies finger well with water and cut into half or one-inch size
> In a pan add oil and let it heat once heated add the mustard seeds, jeera, channa, and urad dhal.
> Once it turns golden color add the crushed garlic pods add then add the chopped onions.
> once it turns translucent add the curry leaves and ladies finger.
> Let the ladies finger cook for a minute and then add the chili powder and salt.
> Mix well and little water to get cooked well. Close the lids for 5 minutes in a low flame
> The yummy ladies' finger fry is ready. Serve hot with curd rice, sambar rice, and enjoy your food.
