POTATO FRY
Ingredients:
Potato - 2 medium size
Onion - 1 big size
Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Curry leaves - 1strand
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspn
Jeera - 1/4 tspn
Channa dhal & Urad dhal - 1/2 tspn
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt needed
Recipe:
> Wash the potatoes and cut into cubes
> In a pan add oil once heated add the mustard seeds, jeera, channa & urad dhal
> When it turns golden color add the chopped onions and curry leaves
> When the onions turn translucent add the potato cubes and mix well and leave for a minute
> Add the turmeric powder, chili powder
> Then add salt and little amt of water
> Mix well and close with lid and cook with low flame until the potatoes are cooked well.
> Serve hot with curd rice, lemon rice, tamarind rice, and sambar rice.
