PEPPER CHICKEN


Ingredients:

Chicken - 200gms
Onion - 1 big size
Tomato - 1 medium size
Ginger garlic paste - 1tspn
Red chili powder - 1 tspn
Coriander powder - 1/2 tspn
Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tspn
Pattai - 1/2 inch
Lavangam - 5-6 nos
Pepper powder - 1-2 tspn
Oil - 1tbsp
Salt needed
Coriander leaves needed
Curry leaves - 1 strand

Recipe:

> Wash the chicken well and keep aside.
> Meanwhile, chop the onions and tomatoes
> In a pan add oil once heated add the fennel seeds, cinnamon, and cloves 
> And then add the chopped onions
When the onions turn translucent add ginger garlic paste
> Then add the tomatoes and curry leaves, once it turns mushy add the chicken to it
> Add the spice powders except pepper powder and mix well
Add little water and allow it to cook for about 7-8 minutes in a low flame so that chicken coats well with masalas
Once the water is drained and chicken is cooked well add the pepper powder according to your taste and final touch the coriander leaves
 > Serve the hot pepper chicken with hot rice, sambar rice, rasam rice and enjoy the taste. 

Note:

>Add little extra pepper powder to make it spicier and enjoy the feel. 
>This can be eaten when you have a cold.
