Prawn thokku / prawn masala
Ingredients:
Prawn - 200 gms
Onion - 2 medium size
Tomato - 1 big size
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1 tspn
Curry leaves - 1 strand
Oil - 1 to 2 tbsp
Salt - needed
Method:
>Wash the prawns by water
>Chop the vegetables
>Heat the oil in a pan once oil heated add fennel seeds
>Once it splitters add the chopped onions
>And when the onions turn translucent add the ginger garlic paste
>Once the raw smell goes off add curry leaves and prawns. Mix it well.
> Now add tomatoes and wait tomatoes turn mushy
>Add all spices mentioned above except pepper powder. Mix well.
>Add a Little amount of water to make the masala consistency. cover it with a lid and cook in a low flame.
> After 5 - 7 min once the water is drained add the pepper powder and switch off the flame.
> Prawn masala is ready and can be served hot with rice, chapati, and ghee rice.
