Veg kurma for Rice in kuchinigirls


Ingredients:

Carrot - 1

Potato - 1

Onion -1

Tomato - 1

Cauliflower - Handful

Coconut - Handful

Ginger and garlic - 2 teaspoons

Green chilies - 2

Cloves, cinnamon, cardamon, and Bay leaves - 2 each

Chilli powder and garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon each

Turmeric powder and fennel seeds - 1/4 teaspoon

salt - As required

Coriander leaves - Handful

Method:

> Prepare the vegetables before starting the process

> Take a strong based vessel and add oil

 > Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom

 > Once its all fried add onion and green chillies

 > Add salt

> Add ginger garlic paste

> Once onion turns brown add tomatoes and turmeric powder

> Then add chopped vegetables

> Add chili powder and  Garam masala powder and saute it for 3 to 5 min

> Then add water and let it boil for 5 to 10 min

> Let it boil nicely
> Take a coconut and fennel seeds
> Make a fine coconut paste
> Add coconut paste into kurma and let it boil for 2 min
> Add coriander and switch off the stove
> Kurma is ready to serve
