Chana masala


Ingredients:

Chana - 200g

Grated Coconut - 3 Tablespoon
Green chilies - 2 
Cashews - 7

Oil - 2 Teaspoon
Bay leaf - 2 Big
Onion - 1 Big
Tomato - 1big

Chili powder - 1 Teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 Teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - As required
Coriander leaves - Handful

Method:

> Soak the chana for overnight and transferred to a cooker with salt and leave it for 7 whistles
> Grind grated coconut, cashews, and green chilies 
> Add required water
> Make a paste-like this
> Then grind tomatoes 
> Prepare a paste 
> Then add a handful of boiled chana into a jar and make a coarse paste
> In a pan add 3 teaspoons of oil 
> Then add bay leaves, onion, ginger garlic paste, and salt.
> Once the onion turns brown add all masalas and give a stir
> Then add the tomato paste and let it cook
> Now add the chana masala paste and half glass of water 
> Once its boil add the remaining boiled chana(with chana boiled water)
> Once its cook well add coconut paste
> check the salt and let it cook for 5 or more min and add coriander
> serve hot with chapati, poori, and parota.
