Beetroot fry


Ingredients:

Beetroot - 2 nos
Onion - 1 no
Green chili - 2-3 nos
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspn
Jeera - 1/4 tspn
Channa & urad dhal - 1/2 tspn
Curry leaves - 1 strand
Oil - 1tbsn
Salt needed

Recipe:

Wash and peel the skin off the beetroot and chop it in cubes or desired shapes
In a pan add oil once heated add the mustard seeds, jeera, channa, and urad dhal. 
> Then add the onions and green chili once the onions turn translucent add the chopped beetroot
> Add required salt, little water, and curry leaves. close the lid and lower to sim flame. 
> Allow it to cook until the water drains and finally add the coconut to it and off the flame
> Serve hot with all dishes and enjoy the delicious fry.
