PANEER BUTTER MASALA
Ingredients:
Paneer - 1 cup (approx 10 nos)
Butter - 7 Tablespoon
Oil - 1 Tablespoon
Onion - 1 Big
Tomato - 3 Medium
Chili powder - 1 Teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Sugar - Half teaspoon
Kasturi methi - 1 teaspoon
Salt - As required
Bay leaves - 3 big
Cinnamon - 2 small
Cashews big - 7 to 10
Dry chili - 2
Ginger - 1 Small
Garlic cloves big - 2
Method:
> Prepare the ingredients before starting the process
> In a pan add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt.
>Then add paneer into it. Roast it well for 2 min.
> keep it separately.
> In the same pan add onion. Once onion turns brown add other ingredients
> Added tomato, salt, cashews, cinnamon, bay leaves, dry chilies, piece of ginger, and garlic cloves.
> Add some water and let it boil, Wait tomatoes turn mushy, close the lid and cook.
> Once its all cook well, cool it and make a paste consistency.
> Add water if required
>In the same pan add remaining butter and oil
>Put bay leaves
> Add chili powder and garam masala.
>Mix well.
>Now add paneer into it.
> Finally add sugar and Kasturi methi. Mix well and switch off the flame.
> Serve hot with poori, chapati, and naan.
Note:
>Adding cashews will give a creamy consistency.so I did not add separate cream.
>If you add Kashmiri chili powder it will give you a darker color, I used the normal one.
