Chettinad Mutton chukka
Ingredients :
To boil mutton :
Mutton : 250g boneless
Oil : 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1 tea spoon
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Chilli powder : Half tea spoon
Green chilly : 2 nos
Onion - 2 nos
Tomato - 1
Salt : As required
Tempering :
Oil : 5 tea spoon
Cumin powder : Half tea spoon
Pepper powder : Half tea spoon
Cumin seeds : Half tea spoon
Dry chilli - 2
Method :
> Wash the mutton
>put it in the cooker and add the ingredients which is mentioned for boil mutton.
> Leave it for 6 or more whistles.
> In a pan add the ingredients like oil ,cumin seeds and dry chillies.
> Then add the mutton into it.Give a stir often that it doesnt stick to the bottom of the pan.
> Then add cumin powder and pepper powder.
>cook until you get a semi dry consistency and switch off the flame.
>Add curry leaves in the end( optional).
>Serve hot with rice,chapathi and briyani.
